About Me:
From a young age, I have always wanted to do the things that other can't, this for me has never been driven by the motives that most would expect, not for ego or arrogance. The reason has always been from far deeper within, it has always been a personal battle with myself, a journey of self discovery to see how mentally strong I can be. Mental fortitude is so important in life, and I truly believe once you possess it, the impossible becomes possible.

I have trained and played sports for most of my life, I was always very active as a child, I was never one for computer games or sitting around. I was always outdoors playing.

I have trained martial arts since I was young, the discipline and focus learnt has most certainly carried over into adult life.

Throughout my life I have studied many different styles. But now my focus is staying consistent with my striking and grappling. For me, the most relevant to my work and real world situations.

Nutrition Principles:
Pushing my body to its maximum capacity requires fuel, so for that reason I do not eat like a bodybuilder. I do not restrict calories, I eat like an athlete, I eat to fuel my body and the daily demands I put it through.

I create such dramatic caloric deficit through the multiple training sessions that I do everyday, that my body requires sufficient food to repair and recover from the gruelling training sessions.

My diet has most certainly evolved over the years, I have learnt what my body requires to recover from my intense training.

For many years I was eating far too clean, which resulted in my body not having sufficient calories, this then created prolonged recovery periods, and an inability to grow and progress.

Always remember, we are are own experiment, learn your body, and its requirements, once you understand this science, you really can optimise your performance.

Training Principles:
I am constantly working hard to optimise and improve the function and performance of my body.

This involves HIIT Cardio and Conditioning Drills, Powerlifting, Strongman Training, Plyometrics and Functional Training, along with Gymnastics and Martial Arts.

For me it's not all about the heavy weight training, I am constantly trying to improve as a Hybrid Athlete.

I also spend at least an hour a day on Mobility Drills and Self-Massage, this is a very important part of my self care protocol that allows me to recover from my intense training sessions and remain injury free, whilst being able to push my body to its limit every single day.

As an athlete I train "Lower Body" a minimum of three times a week, utilising different training principles - specificity, overload, rest, adaptation and reversibility (SORAR), Plus Plyometrics, Sprint and Speed Training.

For me the most important part of ones body is the Posterior Chain and Core. Two areas I feel that very underdeveloped in most.

Current Goals:
Become the first person in the World to Bench Press 110kg / 242lbs Dumbbells Unassisted.

I also work hard everyday to improve my overall performance.

Not just my performance in the gym, but my performance in life.

Performance for me means health, attitude, positive energy, mental capacity, and becoming a stronger person in life.

I challenge myself everyday to become stronger, not only physically, but mentally, emotionally and spiritually.

My Motivation:
What motivates us to keep going is different from person to person.

For me, it’s my family. I work hard everyday to make sure I can be with my family and support them not only financially, but physically (being present) spiritually and emotionally as well.

Knowing I have their constant love and support is my driving force.

I push my body to the limit everyday to better myself and I hope to inspire others to do the same too.

Favourite AD Supplements And Why:

STAMPEDE UNTAMED - This is without a doubt the greatest Pre-Workout Supplement available.

The feeling of focus and clarity is incredible. Being notorious for my intense three hour training sessions, Stampede Untamed keeps my energy output high, and allows me to keep pushing the boundaries.

GRAZED - This is a staple in my daily nutrition.

Optimising my recovering is extremely important to allow me to continue to train the way I do.

It is imperative that my body receives quality nutrients. The powerful blend of amino acids and superfoods gives my body optimum nutrition at the times it needs it most.

Plus, unlike other Greens powders, it tastes incredible too.

Favourite Body Part:
Posterior Chain, a muscle group that is generally very underdeveloped on most.

Favourite Meal:
10oz Steak, Grilled Onions and Peppers, 2 Cups Of White Rice

Favourite Cheat Meal:
Beef Wellington, Mashed Potatoes and Gravy

Career Highlight:
Becoming the first person in the World to Bench Press 105kg / 232lbs Dumbbells Unassisted in 2017 at Body Power UK.

Favourite Quotes:
One of my favourite quotations is by the great Henry Ford,
"Wherever you think you can, or you think you can't -- You're right."

What the quote means; If you truly believe something is not possible or out of your reach, you’re probably not going to commit the necessary energy and resources to accomplishing that goal.

One of my own personal quotes is:
We all have to experience the storm of life, to truly appreciate the sunshine.

How do you balance your social life and fitness life?
Consistency is key to a successful life.

I regularly travel worldwide with my clients.

But, no matter where I am in the world, one thing remains the same, I am consistent in the way I choose to live my life.

I never miss a training session, even if that means at times I am in the gym at 2am in the morning.

Maintaining this belief system of the importance of desire and consistency in my life, has allowed me to continue to obtain remarkable achievements.

Who do you look up to in the fitness industry:
I respect and admire anyone that has achieved greatness in their chosen craft.

Being blessed with talent is a great gift, but when someone channels that gift, and combines it with hard work, passion and desire, that is when you have something truly amazing.

I have been fortunate to work with some truly incredible people in my life, people that are actually making a difference in our world. That is what I truly admire.
